- Keep your guests informed, make sure they know the who, what, where, when and how (and what to wear) so they show up on time and ready!
- Don't make them wait....if your ceremony or dinner is set to start at a specific time then do what you must to start on time. Never make your guests wait too long for food and drink, keep them satisfied and happy!
- Give them a variety of things to do and see. If you love dancing and think ALL your guests will love dancing as much as you do, well, your wrong. Provide a quieter area or activity for those who need to take a break from the music.
- Meet and greet each person. If you are hosting a big party this seems daunting, but it's a must! You invited them, so make sure you thank them in person for coming.
A big part of the Graceful Host planning process is focused on the guest experience. When you say you want your guests to have a good time, we work diligently to make sure that happens. Here are a few simple ways to ensure your guests truly feel special during your event: Add Comment When we lived in Minneapolis there was a great wine shop we frequented because of the knowledgeable staff, tasty cheeses, and excellent selection of wine, specialty beer and cigars (for hubby). Well, we haven't been in that shop for almost 4 years and I'm still on their mailing list! I just got a this postcard from them and just had to share it! This is the new Graceful Host website. We hope you stop here frequently to check out the latest in wedding and party planning ideas, tips and tricks. The tools of the trade should not be kept secret! We want to be a resource and inspiration in our community and beyond. The Graceful Host is committed to not just planning and executing your celebration, but to also teach by example what it means to be a good host. Every event we plan we see as an opportunity to inspire the guests to live and be joyful. We want everyone in attendance to leave the event better people, to strive to make their lives more hospitable and celebration-oriented. How are you going to make this New Year fresh? How do you want to inspire those around you? |
